Foreclosures Decline For Fifth Consecutive Month, What's Next?
Initial Pre-Foreclosure filings dropped by the largest amount in over 24 months opening the New Year. However, filing volume steadily increased over the last half of the month. In fact, the volume we are seeing so far in February is more akin to levels we haven't seen since September of last year. In our opinion, it is too early to call either of these shifts the start of a sustainable trend.
