Most Canadians ask me where do the "other Canadians" live?
Truth is they are scattered all over the Phoenix Metro area.

The Phoenix area is the city of Phoenix, surrounded by about 15 smaller cities including many cities you may have heard of but didn't know they were in the Phoenix area like Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, Glendale, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek & Paradise Valley.

Short sale buying Part Deuce

Ok.. so back for more....
Where did we leave off? Oh yes... Buying a short sale isn't for everybody..

There can be some great deals to be found but folks that have a certain timeline may want to stay away from them...
Many Canadians or Snowbirds that are flying down and shopping for a weekend may want to stay away from them also. If the purchase were to fall through next week or next month, they could be 2000 miles away and have to start from scratch

Tough question.. I don't have a pretty chart or spreadsheet of statistics for this one..

Winter 2010 and 2011 were HOT, not temperature wise (although for snowbirds maybe it was! 55F or 13C).
Real estate prices were at very low points. It was not uncommon to bid on a home at or over asking price and still not get it.
